BeanRails can send customers a rating request after a work is completed. Ratings are collected through the public tracking link and help you monitor service quality.
Viewing Ratings
Go to Ratings in the sidebar to see all customer feedback, including:
- Star rating (1–5)
- Optional written comment
- Linked work and contact
- Date submitted
Setting Up Rating Requests
Configure when and how rating requests are sent under Settings → Ratings.
Options include:
- Enable/disable rating collection globally
- Rating prompt — customise the message shown to customers on the tracking page
- Rating scale — typically 1–5 stars
How Customers Submit Ratings
After a work is completed, the customer receives a notification (if enabled) containing a tracking link. On the tracking page they can view the work summary and submit a star rating with an optional comment.
Rating Notifications
Optionally receive an email notification when a new rating is submitted. Configure this under Settings → Notifications.

Respond promptly to low ratings by following up with the customer — it shows you take feedback seriously.
