Currencies

BeanRails supports multiple currencies so you can create documents for clients in different countries.

Accessing Currencies

Go to Settings → Currencies.

Adding a Currency

1. Click + New Currency
2. Select or enter:
   • Currency Code — e.g. USD, AUD, GBP
   • Symbol — e.g. $, £, €
   • Exchange Rate — relative to your base currency
3. Click Save

Base Currency

Your base currency is set in Settings → Team Settings. All reports and totals are displayed in the base currency.

Using Currencies on Documents

When creating a quote or invoice, select the currency for that document. The correct symbol will appear on line items and totals.

Update exchange rates regularly if you work with overseas clients to keep your pricing accurate.
