Product Categories let you organise your products into named groups — for example, Parts, Labour, or Consumables. Categories can be applied to products and used to filter and group line items on quotations and invoices.
Accessing Product Categories
Go to Settings → Product Categories.
Adding a Product Category
- Click + Add Product Category
- Enter:
- Name (required)
- Description (optional)
- Click Save
Editing or Deleting
- Click on any row to edit the name or description
- Click the delete icon to remove a category
Warning
Deleting a product category does not delete the products assigned to it, but those products will no longer have a category.
