Inventory

Inventory lets you track physical stock — parts, materials, and consumables — including quantities on hand and cost per unit.

Adding an Inventory Item

  1. Go to Inventory in the sidebar
  2. Click + New Item
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Name and SKU — unique identifier for the item
    • Description — optional notes
    • Category — group items together (e.g. Filters, Lubricants)
    • Unit of Measure — e.g. pcs, m, L
    • Quantity in Stock — opening stock count
    • Cost — cost price per unit
    • Status — Active or Inactive
  4. Click Save

Inventory Categories

Organise your stock into categories for easier searching and reporting.

  1. Go to Inventory → Categories (or Settings → Inventory Categories)
  2. Click + New Category, enter a name, and save

Adjusting Stock

To record a stock movement (receive stock, adjust for usage, or write-off):

  1. Open an inventory item
  2. Click Add Transaction
  3. Select the transaction type:
    • In — receiving stock
    • Out — consuming or issuing stock
    • Adjustment — manual correction
  4. Enter the quantity and an optional note
  5. Save — the quantity in stock updates automatically

Stock Levels

The Quantity in Stock field on each item reflects all recorded transactions. Review the transaction history on any item to see a full audit trail of movements.
