Team Settings is where you configure account-wide preferences including your company details, email sending, locale, and document defaults.
Accessing Team Settings
Go to Settings → Team Settings.
Company Information
Set the details that appear on all quotes and invoices:
- Company Name
- Company Logo — upload your logo (recommended: PNG, min 200px wide)
- Address
- Phone and Email
- Website
Locale & Formatting
| Setting | Description |

| Timezone | All scheduled dates and times display in this timezone |
| Date Format | How dates appear on documents (e.g. DD/MM/YYYY) |
| Currency | Default currency for new documents |
| Language | Interface language |
Email (SMTP) Settings
Configure a custom sending address so emails come from your own domain rather than a generic BeanRails address:
- Enter your From Name and From Email
- If using custom SMTP, enter your SMTP Host, Port, Username, and Password
- Click Send Test Email to verify the configuration
- Save
Document Defaults
Set defaults that pre-fill on new documents:
- Default payment terms (e.g. Net 30)
- Invoice footer / notes
- Quotation expiry period

Upload a high-resolution logo — it appears on all customer-facing documents and emails.
